Jelena Jankovic And Rolex Cellini; Super Achievers

Jelena Janković

There is no wonder why a Rolex watch is referred to as a ‘masterpiece’. For any thing to get into the category of a masterpiece one has to ensure that the end-product is perfect, precise and flawless each and every time. Each and every watch is specially crafted to perfection. Rolex has always stressed and believed in quality over quantity. Thus, a Rolex is a thing to treasure. It is more than just a mere watch. It is a style statement that defines who you really are. It should not just be a one time thing but each and every watch that rolls out of the Rolex factory adheres to the same high standards of precision as any other Rolex watch made till now. Unlike other watches the Rolex Cellini remains to mesmerize one’s aesthetic senses with an unforgettable impression for years. Each and every occasion becomes special when you strap on this piece of art. Every Rolex Cellini has a different touch from its counterparts as it is handcrafted by the best craftsmen in the world and not just duplicated enmasse.

Like most of the tennis superstars, Jelena Jankovic too has a stunning court presence and is currently world number 5 in the WTA rankings. Born on the 28 February 1985, to Serbian parents, Veselin and Snežana Janković, both economists, she is their third child and took to sports instead of following her parents. She has two older brothers as well. Rolex Cellini

She really caught the imagination of the tennis fans when she stayed put as World number one in the WTA rankings for seventeen consecutive weeks without actually winning a Grand Slam; which is a great achievement in itself. Subsequently Serena Williams overtook her in the year 2009, February. Jelena Jankovic is often regarded as one of the fittest and toughest players in recent history of women’s tennis for her great defensive abilities and footwork. Her amazing on-court stamina and well-balanced performance has even the worst of cynics praising her. Jankovic has strong and calculated ground strokes and likes to go down the line more often than crosscourt. Her signature shot is her two-handed backhand that goes down the line.

Jelena is known to hit with excellent speed and can hit her backhand strokes from any angle on the court along with the ability to hit effective drive, drop and swinging volleys.

The Rolex Cellini completely compliments the style and power of a sportsperson like Jelena Jankovic and with its 18 ct yellow gold body and a white mother-of-pearl dial; it is a perfect match of beauty and strength. The off-white dial set with the finest diamonds which are hand picked by the Rolex master craftsmen add to the charm of this piece. None who claims to ever have seen and worn a Rolex Cellini can actually put on any other piece. Because it has such a hypnotic appeal almost transcendental!
