Being named a part of the Rolex Junior All-Americans is always an honor and a privilege for any budding golfer. Golfing legends like Tiger Woods have been a part of the American Junior Golf Association and have found their skill and confidence polished from the association. Rolex, by its association with sports and junior golf has been trying to fulfill its aim of promoting human brilliance all along its history.
48 boys and 48 girls have already been named to the Rolex Junior Golf All-Americans. Each year players who have proved themselves as the world’s best junior golfers find themselves on the listings. Rolex has been supporting the American Junior Golf Association since 1983 and then went on to be the premier partner for the association in 2004. Kimberly Kim is 18 years old and a freshman at the University of Denver. This is her sixth selection into the Rolex Junior Golf All-Americans and with this she has become the second-most-of-all-time to be named to the team. She has earned herself first-team honors three years in a row. At four out of five national junior events for this year, Kimberly Kim finished in the top three, thereby winning the Rolex Girls Junior Championship. This is the sort of dedication and talent Rolex wishes to highlight with its association and sponsorship of golf events.
Sixteen year old Kelli Oride has received an honorable mention to the Rolex Junior Golf All-American. She received the honor after her second win in the American Junior Golf Association’s ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior. Kelli Oride is currently ranked at No. 43 in the Polo Golf Rankings. She also has to her credit two other top-10 finishes along with earning herself the HP Scholastic Junior All-American honor for this year.
The inclusion into the Rolex Junior All-American Teams is based entirely upon the Polo Golf Rankings as of Oct. 27. The team is made up of 96 junior golfers from 20 states and 7 foreign countries between 13 and 18 years of age. The Rolex Junior All-America Awards Banquet scheduled for Nov. 22 is where the boys and girls will be honored. The venue for the banquet is the PGA National Resort Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The awards banquet shall be held in the true style that all Rolex ceremonies are held. Apart from the pride of being named to the team the golfers also look forward to the awards banquet that promises to be as exciting and extravagant as the sporting events and something which they’ll remember forever.

Emily Tubert is the current favorite in the list of the 26
Tubart who took up playing golf only a year ago has the perfect golfer body. She is tall, lean and carries an athletic frame and a determination to win on the golf course. Her coach Zachary Allen, a De Bell golf instructor points out that Emily’s biggest “thing” is her steely conviction. The girl has already won four times and got herself medals and her passion for the game as her coach puts it, is unlimited and fierce. Emily started by winning the Optimist Park Golf Tournament with a score of 37 and happily took home her first tourney trophy. Her Burroughs coach is also gaga over her humility, saying Emily owes her success to her family and surroundings. Tubert has verbally committed herself to the University of Arkansas and was recently honored with the 2009 Girls Junior Americas Cup Team.
