Jeremy Wariner The best runners they say do not run against competitors but run against themselves and in this endeavor to always outdo one’s and other’s expectation of oneself Jeremy Wariner has most deservingly claimed the title of one of the world’s top sprinters. Rolex watches are synonymous with Jeremy’s practice of timing every step he takes and every move he makes. Jeremy’s close, second victory earned him a berth in the Olympics 400metres and 4*400 m relay team. Wariner qualified for the 2008 Olympics Final with a time of 44.12 seconds and finished second behind LaShawn Merritt.

Cosmograph Daytona The sprinter’s personal bests have been delivered in a 200 meter race in Carson, California in May 2006 at a speed of 20.19 seconds. This particular Cosmograph Daytona is the perfect accomplice in sprinting and running trainings and competitions. The Daytona is ideal for measuring elapsed time and also calculates average speed. With its sweep second hand, minute and hour totalizers it is the true sportsman’s watch. The Daytona also has a released tachometer bezel that is carved and standardized for special tick offs. Michael Phelps And Rolex Submariner Date; Swimming Against The Stream

Michael Phelps

Sharing the same spirit with the water is what has fine tuned Michael Phelps and the Rolex Submariner Date into making the water their sky and knowing no limits to conquer it. The young Phelps and the Rolex Submariner Date know waters like they were born in it, they know its moods, its language and best of all they know that the water is foe only till you haven’t befriended it. Rolex that has a history of being with its wearer through rain and storm introduced the Submariner Date as the perfect sea companion that money could buy. Rolex had previously come up with watches that stood hardships on land but with the Submariner Date it set out to conquer territories that swam. Phelps like the Submariner Date has lived in the waters the better part of his life and takes it to better than a fish.

Being considered the greatest swimmers of all times is a distinction that had years of tireless devotion going behind it and hence the young Phelps has taken the glory of such a feat lightly. Phelps has won a whopping 14 career Olympic gold medals and holds eight world records after having broken thirty three of them.

Curiously, Phelps started swimming to control his hyperactivity disorder. Fondly called Gomer by his Olympic team mates, Phelps started training at the North Baltimore Aquatic Club competing at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney when he was 15. A few months later Phelps broke his own record at the World Championships in Japan, and went on to set American marks at the 100 meter butterfly and 200 meter individual medley. Phelps has become a pro at breaking his own records, breaking his 400 m individual medley record at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Rolex Submariner Date

The world and the boy whose feats were constantly being compared to Mark Spitz’s didn’t know that he would one day swipe those records with better breakthroughs. In the 2004 Athens Olympics, Phelps won eight medals in one Olympic, also winning his first Gold in the 400 m individual medley.

At the 2007 World Championships Phelps won seven gold medals, and also broke five world records but it was his winning spree at the 2008 Beijing Olympics that astounded the world. Representing his country, Phelps wrote and re-wrote records at these Games. He broke Mark Spitz’s record of seven gold medals won in a single Olympic Games, Phelps also completed his Butterfly split in 50.1 seconds, the fastest ever split in this race. Phelps commented that records were meant to be broken and it only required a strong will to know that you could achieve such a feat. This year, Phelps went on to secure the first place at 400 m Freestyle Relay in Rome.

Submariner Date is the kind of watch that would put the best of water resistant watches combined together to shame. The Submariner is impervious to a depth of 300 metres/1,000 feet wading through the waters no matter how deep you go and always showing the perfect time. The certified chronometer has a unidirectional rotatable bezel that checks decompression times for the swimmer, and since it is self wound allows all the freedom to the wearer that he needs with his watch. A black rotatable bezel as earlier mentioned encircles a black dial that is 40 mm in radius. The bracelet of the watch is an Oyster Fliplock and the Submariner comes crystallized in Sapphire. The high end Rolex Submariner and Michael Phelps dare to swim against the stream.

Rob Lowe And Rolex Air King; Rob-bing Attention

Rob Lowe

Rolex has always enjoyed attention no matter whose wrist it has fancied itself on. Rolex can not only hold your attention but has always successfully grabbed attention for so long that it has compelled people to spend just that extra and get for themselves an experience of a lifetime and a watch to be passed on for generations to come. Air King is a Rolex offering that robs attention wherever it goes and wherever it is displayed. Like Rob Lowe even if the watch tries to keep a low profile what it ultimately succeeds in doing is only creating for itself a larger fan base with more to come.

Born in Virginia Lowe shifted to California with his mother and brother after his parents’ divorce. Lowe also happens to have lost hearing in his right ear because of a viral attack in infancy. Lowe started his acting career with a role in the movie Thursday’s Child. Lowe received his first Golden Globe nomination for this role. His film debut was made in Schoolboy Father and Lowe went on to be cast in The Outsiders a role and a performance that his fans most fondly recall. Lowe was cast alongside Emilio Estevez in the film and the hit pair went on to star in St. Elmo’s Fire. The two formed the more popular faces of the Brat Pack.

Rob’s second nomination for Best supporting actor at the Golden Globe came for his portrayal of a mentally disabled character in Square Dance. Rob performed on the hit series The West Wing playing Sam Seaborn for a length of four years. Lowe garnered an Emmy and two Golden Globe award nominations for Best Actor. After having left the show for reasons of differences with the production company NBC, Lowe returned to act in two of the final four episodes.

Rolex Air King

Lowe acted as lieutenant Daniel Kaffee in a London West End production of A Few Good Men. Rob gained a larger fan base as he started appearing in various roles television mini series. He played the lead in a series based on Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot and followed this with a role as a super agent in Thank You for Smoking. Lowe was also credited with bringing the show Brothers & Sisters’ highest ratings in all the seasons that it had been on television. Rob’s next release Invention of Lying is slated for a September 2009 release.

The Air King is one of a kind. What may look like a classic clean interface for a watch is actually styled in that particular manner to serve a basic purpose-functionality. With its simple design that not only spells professionalism but also introduces and element of undying tradition the Rolex Air King sure is a winner. The Air King is an Oyster Perpetual variety of the Rolex watches and is a certified chronometer that is certified by COSC or the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute. The dial is only 34 mm in radius but packs in a punch with its stark whiteness. The bezel of the Air King is unique; it has an engine turned with raised hour marks and is extremely efficient in marking time. The Oyster featuring Oysterclasp bracelet and the classic watch is stylized in the traditional steel that most Rolex watches have come to be defined by. The Air King is crystallized in sapphire and is waterproof to 100 meters. The Air King is also available in steel and 18ct white gold finish. Rob Lowe combines good looks and suave charm in a way very few people can and like the Rolex Air King robs attention wherever he goes.
