About The Rolex President (Day Date Presidential)Introduced at the Basel Fair in 1956, the Rolex Day Date President is the flagship, highest-end Rolex wristwatch. Originally named the “Day Date,” it gained its name as the “President” when it was gifted by the Rolex corporation to President Dwight D. Eisenhower in honor of his re-election.
