The Swiss luxury watchmakers at Rado have developed a signature style using scratch proof materials and unique, high-tech components. In 2004, they created a timepiece using an extremely hard, nanocrystalline diamond, earning the Guinness Book of World Record’s certification as the hardest watch on Earth. Its unique aesthetic has earned awards around the world for superior construction and outstanding design. Oprah Winfrey, celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Bollywood actress Lisa Ray are photographed frequently wearing Rado watches. Scratch proof ceramic materials, with hypoallergenic and body heat absorbing properties, are used exclusively in Rado’s Ceramica, Rado Sintra, Rado Integral and Rado True watch collections.

About RadoRado has most recently introduced the Rado HyperChrome Collection, watches made with a one piece, high-tech case that forms the whole of the finished timepiece. Using injected molding, the watches are available in black or pure white, and made with heat intensive, hard ceramic for durability. With this new collection, Rado watchmakers have once again demonstrated themselves to be leaders in timepiece innovation. |
