Well what can I say, Rolex is Rolex, I've loved the brand for ages (my papa is a watch afficionado loves the brand) they are expensive it took me 36 years to have it.Pragmatically any Rolex makes no sense at all financially, however in terms of the heart - this is worth every penny.What else (other than a depreciating car) can a man wear everyday, and get a such a great feeling from wearing. Everytime I look at the watch, I just think "nice". The stainless steel watch is suitable for serious business attire without being overly glitzy. One of the nicest things about this watch, in my opinion, was its lack of showiness. The mother of pearl dial is beautiful, yet subdued enough so it isn’t a distraction. I feel comfortable wearing it out to dinner, or even to church in the morning, without feeling like I’m showing off. I wasn’t dead set on buying a Rolex when I made this purchase, but rather I wanted to buy a watch that I could pass down to my son in a few years. It took a lifetime of saving to get to this point, and this watch has become more than just a timepiece to me. The platinum band is much less flashy than some of the gold options, and I highly recommend it. I can’t say enough about Melrose’s customer service as well. It took months of searching to find the perfect one, and this was it! It doesn't have that overly flashy appearance, so I can wear it anywhere. I really like the blue face against the platinum and diamonds. The band shimmers in a way I have never seen a watch shimmer. This was a long, strenuous decision for me and in the end, I am glad I waited to find the one that was perfect for me. I really like the blue water like design in the face of this watch. It reminds of all the water skiing and sun bathing and it gets me excited to go back again when I'm sitting at work looking at the time. This was a really expensive watch but it carries a lot of beauty with and sparkle with it. I would buy it again if I had the chance.
