Movado, as the name of one of the world’s top luxury watchmakers, is Esperanto for “continuous movement.” While more than a century old, Movado stays true to its name, with a spirit of continuous innovation and modern design. Movado’s most famous milestone is perhaps its iconic “Museum Watch,” with its single gold dot symbolizing the sun at noon, and the hands suggesting the earth’s movement. Movado also commissioned the design and installation of the famous Time Sculpture outside Lincoln Center in New York City. Baseball player Derek Jeter and entertainment personalities Maria Menounos and Joel McHale are all known to wear Movado watches.
