He also said that the racer’s circuit will give both the riders an opportunity to understand and feel the difference in the 2 styles at this legendary track.
Both the players will be driving at the Glen course which is about 3.4 miles and includes 11 turns. NASCAR makes use of a 2.4 mile short course which does not comprise of the famous boot section. However Tony Stewart, who has had five Cup wins at Watkins Glen, has already driven it in Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series race. Tony Stewart stated that at this point of time in his career he needs challenges and experiences to make things more interesting. He considers his swap with Lewis Hamilton a very good opportunity to test himself as a driver. The IndyCar series title winner also stated that he has a lot of respect for what Lewis Hamilton and other F1 drivers do. This season will mark the 50th centenary of Glen’s inaugural F1 race. The details of the number of laps Lewis Hamilton and Tony Stewart will make are still being decided. They will be following Juan Pablo Montoya and Jeff Gordon’s lead who also swapped their riders in the year 2003 at Indianapolis when Juan Pablo Montoya drove in F1. Both the riders are very competent and hope to adapt to this change and get comfortable with each other’s rides before the championship takes place. Lewis Hamilton currently drives for the Mc Laren team whereas Tony Stewart rides No. 14 Office Depot/Mobil 1/Burger KingChevrolet Impala for his own Stewart Haas Racing under his crew chief Darian Grubb. The race is surely going to be an interesting one as the audience will watch two well known riders switch places and experience the best of both worlds.

Hannah Sue Burnett, who is a native of the Shelby County will be back for another stint at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event that will commence on Thursday. The Rolex event is an equestrian competition that equals the level of the Olympics. It draws about 50,000 to 100,000 spectators from all over the world. Also they boast of an elite roster of riders who have participated in the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington that took place last year. Many players wait for this Equestrian event every season and Hannah Sue Burnett is amongst them. In the year 2007, at the age of 20 she completed her 1st four star Rolex event. Afterwards she went on and rode for Team O’Connor which was headed by Karen and David O’Connor who have been Olympic riders. She has been working for the O’Connor team for last 3 years. Hannah Sue Burnett is very thrilled as the Rolex event is going to take place in her home town.
She accepted the fact that there is a lot of pressure to do well as this is going to be her second try at the Rolex event. She said that the first time she went for the event it was just to get the feel of the event and know how things work. Her main aim last year was to complete and this year it’s to compete. Hannah Sue Burnett’s 16 year old mount, Keep the Faith, who had accompanied his rider to some of the most important competitions has now retired. Now she will have a Washington-bred Thoroughbred named St.
Barths as her mount for the upcoming event. St. Barths aka “Nike” will be debuting in the forthcoming event. According to his rider he is a very fast thinking horse and swift as well, Hannah Sue Burnett is very confident about him and hopes that they will do well.
Last fall she, along with her mount Nike won the Dansko Fair Hill International Three-Day Event scheduled in Maryland. She performed exceptionally well in the three star championship where she thwarted the attempts of riders like Phillip Dutton who has won gold in Olympics. Now the 24 year old rider will have to perform in front of the home crowd which is going to be tough. Among other riders for the event is Australian Clayton Fredericks who was the winner of the Rolex Kentucky three day event in the year 2007. That year second place went to Phillip Dutton and third place went to Karen O’Connor. All the three riders are now back to win the title. Last time Hannah Sue Burnett’s dressage score was 59. However it was followed by a slip up in the second phase of the competition at a cross country fence. While tackling she knocked down a few rails. She went onto finish on the 23rd spot. This year she hopes that she will do much better than last year with her young and energetic “Nike”.
