She had been there for us after school, put up with our moods and dramas, and stood by us as we achieved our goals. When she said she wanted to go back to school to get her masters, and then her Ph.D. after our dad died, we felt like it was her turn. We bought her this watch knowing that she'd feel like we had spent way too much money (my sisters "accidentally" left the invoice out on the counter so she'd know we got a good price on it *wink*). The watch took her breath away, and with good reason. The diamonds on the dial were prettier than we thought they'd be. The picture really doesn't do the watch justice. Melrose was awesome--we had some questions because we didn't know much about rolex watches--and held our hand while we decided the best watch for mom. We could hardly wait to get the watch; luckily we didn't have to wait long. The watch arrived the next day. I admit, it was hard to keep the watch a secret until the party. I couldn't wait to see mom's face when she opened up her gift. Melrose really came through for us and helped us make our mom feel really special.
