The Italian watch manufacturers Panerai first became famous creating watches for military divers in World War II. Today, Panerai is known for its modern diving timepieces, as well as other popular sports watch styles, including the solid gold Marina Watch. Entertainers Sylvester Stallone, Heidi Klum and Duane Johnson frequently wear Panerai watches. The Panerai Contemporary, and the Panerai Manifattura are all regarded as state-of-the-art performance sport watches.

About PaneraiIn 2005, Panerai and the Ferrari automobile company created a watch collection to reflect the unique, sporty style of both companies. The “Ferrari Engineered by Panerai” timepieces featured two watch styles, the Granturismo and the Scuderia, with their own cases and watch faces unlike any other in the Panerai collections. While only a limited edition and no longer in production, these timepieces are still prized by collectors. |
